We took a day off to go to Annecy and enjoy the big show of the Tour de France. The Annecy stage is a time trial around the lake (40km ish), giving the spectators a chance to witness both the start AND finish as well as visiting the "pits". Living in the world of lycra, silly caps and carbon bikes was quite something... fortunately, the down hill World Cup starts again this weekend in Mont St. Anne !
